Dr William Wasswa of Global Auto Systems in Uganda has changed his business to respond to the COVID 19 pandemic. To date, he has created an app to order groceries at a distance, a system to provide information to reduce fear about the pandemic and local PPE production solutions. To continue this work, GAS needs funds to improve its ICT infrastructure and space to produce more PPE. Dr Wassawa hopes to expand his work to become a centre of excellence for PPE production in East Africa.
